| Have to say that I love Random Access Memories totally. True to form, I get hooked on certain songs and then move on to others and get hooked on them as well. This is one of my favs on the venture because it's so cryptic and slowly inviting. Had to respond to your post because I totally agree with your assessment about the song. This is about a guy who is in love with his friend's girl. In a chance encounter while watching his dog he thought something may be there for her as well. And during the summer they actually hung out and something happened. He's torn, and she's torn, which is shown by Panda Bear singing about how he's not sure why she's upset, cause they are not together. To me, this means that he is saying "why are you upset, you have who you want." Great tune! | |
