This song is The Saints calling out followers of the late 70's punk scene for all dressing, acting, and thinking the same instead of truly being individuals. Basically yelling "Poseur!" The reference to uniforms could possibly be a dis on their contemporaries in Radio Birdman, who wore uniforms and insignia some considered Nazi-esque, but is more likely being used metaphorically to simply describe the fashions prevalent in the early punk scene. |
