some people think the title and distorted bits are trying to say the jewish word for God, which they aren't allowed to speak. There is a reference to moses going through the burning bush ''through thefire and through the flames'' and i can't remember thestory exactly but i think moses asked God who he should tell poeple sent him and God said tell them "i am that iam'' look it up though, dontt ake my word for it though |

I think it's about ending a relationship and knowing the other person is bad for you (i knew you were empty), but still feeling sad about not being with them (still i'm alone). The bridge is how it looked easy to leave a toxic relationship but then finding it difficult, and what she really needs is the guy to just leave her cold so she can finally move on with her ''true loved one''. I reckon the chorus is just saying leave me be and i'll be fine. |
