Spoon – Finer Feelings Lyrics 16 years ago
The Commercial Appeal is the name of the Memphis newspaper. I don't think he is a fan of the city and is looking in the newspaper for the answers to a way out. Or something like that.

Action Action – Smoke and Mirrors Lyrics 20 years ago
What a great opening song to an album. The album isn't great yet, it hasn't grown on me, and it might not. But the build up in the beginning and then the melody is just catchy as are the keyboards and 80s sound. As the song mentions.

Modest Mouse – A Different City Lyrics 21 years ago
I like at how the end of the song he says, "You never die you'll never grow old" which is later sung in I Came As A Rat. It's cool how MM interwines their songs on their CD's.

The Used – Listening Lyrics 21 years ago
Well, these are lyrics are based on somsone just listening to tracks, and they wanted to get lyrics up as soon as possible, and they did it before the CD was out, so lets not get mad at someone for them trying their best.

This is a great album, took about a week to get use to it, but I'm really liking it now.

The Used – Lunacy Fringe Lyrics 21 years ago
This is the best song on the CD. But I don't know what it means, and I really don't care, it's just so poppy and happy. The way he annunicates the words when he repeats the first verse is great, and the way the says "do you want to take me on?" and smiles ends up making me smile.

Something Corporate – Straw Dog Lyrics 23 years ago
This is probably my fav. song off LTTW. I just love "Hey Now, the straw dog's out in the street." I bought this CD along with Finch's What It Is To Burn together for $10. ($5 a piece if you didn't want to do any math)
