| I think this is a song asking forgiveness and apologizing to the rest of Alexisonfire. The band did split not on the best of terms. Two of the verses of this song are taken from an Alexisonfire song "Cause I was born and raised To live beyond The heft and weight Of a world undone" and "Like a bird who flies All the way from the north My heart will roam In search of warmth" are from BORN AND RAISED from the Old Crows Young Cardinals album. Yes that song has to do with the society struggle between religion and reality and which path people choose or should choose, and I believe that using those two verses from that song to this shows that Dallas has chosen his path since the band break and how his new path was not how he imagined it years ago when Alexisonfire first started and how hard life can be when it changes, hence the song title. | |
