To me, this is a song about a relationship that has not come to be, yet (or ever). Love at first sight, the complicated emotions, you want it in your head to be this magical thing that has never happened to you before, at least not on this scale. The guts to go forth and make it so (no regrets no remorse) has not happened just yet. I would even say that the line "From yesterday comes tomorrow" is him living with it day to day and not making it happen. I don't think it's a love song, though it is a song about love, or the beginnings of, and to either nut up and go for it, or live with the remorse and regrets of never doing it. |
