To me this song is talking about how we must struggle or at least have dedication. I believe you must have endurance in whatever it is you are doing to succeed, whether it is getting to heaven, accomplishing a goal, or (something this song really expresses for me) being abstinent until marriage. Even to non-Christians this song carries important lessons on dedication, persistence, and patience. |
