Wow... this song is so touching. I have a friend who no one likes and every one is a jerk to, so he is a jerk back. This is only because he doesn't no how to handle his demons though. If he didn't have me and one other person on his side I am sure he would be dead right now. If you see someone doing crap to someone else, like that boy's father in the video, SAY SOMETHING!!!! You might save a life. |

My father is an over the road driver. I worry when he is away, but we talk every morning and night. I love to ride along with him when he makes local runs. My dad was in a bad accident once, far from home, and he broke his arm, but he got home, driving that old '87 Peterbilt with one arm in a sling, shifting with his elbow. God bless the truckers who keep this country moving. |

I was only 2 when I first heard this song, and it has stuck with me ever since. I called it "The humpty-back camel song" for many years. A lot of memories of mine are to the tune of one of your songs. Their "Home in Ireland" CD is my constant music, whether at home or riding along with my dad in his 18 wheeler. I have a small amount of Irish in me, but I am a full-blooded Irishman at heart. My bucket list is to see Ireland in person. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE MEMORIES!! |
