Okay, I've loved this song since the day of its release. I was dating the girl who I knew was the one. SO, with 2 Long island iced teas on board and 35 years to contemplate, please allow me to pontificate. It is the inner thinking on an insecure cockold who thinks his girl is cheating (and probably is). Yet, she returns home every night and her presence falsly reasaures him his relationship is safe after they make love. This is probably pure bullshit, and I hope it brings joy to Robert's face, for a song which has done the same to me for over 3 decades. |
