Looks to me like another love song where the guy feels like he wants a girl back but girl is unsure. Where the guy is almost begging for her to take him back /crawling/. How many secrets can you keep... he is unsure if he wants to know..That the nights were mainly made for saying things that you can't say tomorrow day.. maybe implying that the he thinks the nights were just a flick or they were maybe a little drunk and just playing around. When really the next day he would fall for her. even after a few /drinks maybe/ he still feels like calling her. And in the end he lets her decide if she is willing to maybe take him back or forgive him for something he as done. Just my quick interpretation of the song. I heard it today so its just my opinion. And as everyone knows a song can mean something way different for every listener. I just feel when i listen to the arctic monkeys i have a good connection to what they sing about. Plus Alex turners voice is like the first time i heard the Beatles :D |
