| I totally agree with you, @kimber. I find prayer to be such a hard thing, as I can't seem to express more than what I'm thankful for (family, friends, shelter, ect). Once I try and get into how I'm feeling or the things I want, there just aren't words that satisfy my emotions. That's why praying has turned into such a chore for me. As for church, I find it hard to sit and listen to someone else as they try and shove every religious view they have down my throat. I'm independent in all that I do, and the thought of conforming my beliefs to someone else's ideals completely baffles me. God created us to serve his purpose, and I only want to do that in what ever way I feel He is leading me, not as a pastor tells me to. | |
