I feel like she is saying that there is someone she wants so bad to talk to, but by talking to them, it will only reopen her wound, making everything hurt all over again. The only way to keep her wound "closed" would be to not talk to him. By avoiding the hurt and pain, she also has to avoid the joy and happiness that goes along with talking to him. This is exactly how I feel with my really good friend who moved. I want to talk to him, but I know it will only end in sorrow. |
