I think this is a highly underlooked song. VERY great, in my opinion.. The lyrics are simple, but STRONG. In my pessimistic view of an optimistic sounding song, it sounds like: there is a man in a relationship with a significant other.. things went to shit, and now he's getting ready to do something most would regret, but he won't, because he's past feeling anything. The hurt from the breaking up of the relationship has made him numb, and now he's ready to literally drown his ex-significant other. *shrug* Just my view. |
