When I was younger I thought this song was about a girl who had fallen in love with a bad boy or a poor boy and her friends and family was trying to tell her he is no good or he will drag you down. But know I think it can also be about an abusive relationship. The person is cutting her and she is bleeding but she feels no pain because she loves him and the emotion she has towards him his love and the others are pushed down. Woman in abusive relationships are usually in denial so she is not listening to her family and friends. |

I think this song is basically about death. You start of dead and you end up dead. And like don't be scared in life and things you do which you find embarrassing or bad it does not really matter because after sometime you and everybody around you will be dead. So just do the best you can in life and just go for it don't be afraid that people will judge you because nobody will remember in the end.
That'ts what I think anyway. |

Even though this song is actually about having loved someone then losing them and then losing your mind , to me it is about being confused about who you are and and not knowing who you are. But at the same time your angry at someone or a lot of people and you wish yo ad not been your best with them or stood up to them or something like that. Also you are not interested or do not care about anything. And maybe you are not living life to the fullest because you are drowning in your misery. So the line "telling me I'm dead" is saying that you are not really living you are just existing. and then the line "and so I'll waste my time and burn my mind on miss nothing. i miss everything" might mean that you are like already dead because of your apathy and your wasting your time by being angry at people or yourself for your misery. Also you are wasting your time by pitying yourself and being consumed in all your doom.
So basically to me this song is about being confused about who you are and wasting time absorbed in your sorrow and haveing a lot of apathy for everything. |
