To me this song is about falling in love and sharing yourself with someone, then when the relationship falls apart you feel incomplete: "Pieces were stolen from me, dare I say? Given away" The process of truly opening up and sharing yourself with someone leave you raw and exposed after the relationship dies: "Where are you hiding my love? Cast off like a stone. Feelings, raw and exposed when I'm out of control" I think this song is quite obviously about heartbreak like many others but it is on a whole other level. |
