In answer to Michelle Belle's comment, I would think that Mint Car does not necessarily refer to the flavour. I always thought that it was meant as "new car" with "mint" used in the sense of new. His perfect love is like a brand new car...when you first begin a relationship everything is new and beautiful. Then the "new car smell (a.k.a. excitement) goes away and you start to notice the things you don't like. The car aspect could also plainly be interpreted as the two lovers spending a good time in a car, frolicking until the sun comes up.. ;) |
