1st time I heard this song from the movie twilight I FELL INLOVE with it. Its so deep I cant even put to words what the song is about. I think its about a poor kid who saw a beautiful girl that was like a flightless bird,Fragile and sad and then he never sees her again. ''Or lost you'' She couldn't be the one in a way but he wants her but cant get her. And he's suicidal ''Big pill stuck going down'' BTW, love this songs, makes my heart tremble |

The way I see it its like she finds it more peaceful under the water(which it is btw) and it feels like all her problems and the sins she has committed are drowning out. ''The arms of the ocean...
