When we come to Christ and ask for forgiveness, we are redeemed. Now in living a life for Christ, we walk by faith. The Apostle Paul was a Christian killer until God first chose him and redeemed him. Paul's life wasn't the easiest life but he walked by faith and fought the good fight. He still had struggles with sin but the difference is he had the desire to stop them, asking forgiveness for them and knowing only God would see him through. God's peace, love and grace to you. |

In 1986, I was in NYC to partake in an event called "Hands Across America" with a couple of friends. We were doing a little exploring around Times Square. Suddenly, I was looking up at a young, tall, dark haired stranger with an accent asking me for directions. I think it was how to get to the subway or coffee shop. We had just come from that area so I gave him directions best I could have done. While talking to the guy, I was thinking, this guy is cute and I wanted to hear him speak again because of his unique accent. He thanked me and we went our separate ways. I actually looked back hoping I would see him again and offer to show him the way. The lyrics you posted are the ones I heard first and brought me back to that day with many great, warm-fuzzy memories. Peace and grace to you all. : ) |
