Growing up in FL (same state as the boys from UnderOath), I know all about tornado drills, and this seems to be what hes talking about. We were required to get under our desks and wait til we were told to come out. This song is his thought process while experiencing a tornado..Coming to terms with the fact that he is probably going to die. He would rather die under his desk than wake up from his dream. He's ready to meet God. Amen.

I was extremely dissapointed with the new album. There are still several songs on the album that I enjoy thoroughly, and this is one of them. Along with "Steady as we Go." Both of these two songs have the older, more traditional DMB feel to it. The rest of the album is moving in a direction that I dont particularly care for.

toallofyou...Science still hasnt proven that Jesus didnt exist, and wait, I dont think science has proven that Jesus didnt die on the cross either. He was a real person, and he did die on the cross for YOU, and everyone else. A lot of the Word was written by people who were close to Jesus when he was living. I dont know if you know this, but Science has proven that energy cannot be created or destroyed...how did we get here then? Anyway, I think this song is about Christ. Take the song as you may, its your choice, just as believing in Jesus is your choice. Make your own decision

the-orange-i-choked has the right idea. this song has nothing to do with suicide. it sounds very morbid, but it actually has really good meaning behind it. the fact that they begin the song with "this door has been shut for days," and end with, "its time to open the door," tells you its not about suicide. this song is about someone who knows how great it is to walk with Christ, but fell into all the sin he was committing like a lot of Christians do. No matter how strong someone's faith in God is, theres always a possibilty of falling out of it, or growing away from Him.

this song is about a battle with drugs. im suprised nobody has said that. "its gonna hurt, but i love the pain." "i love the way you love, but i hate the way im supposed to love you back." the fad hes talking about is a lot of teenagers willingness to experience drugs. this song was probably written during a draught of depression after not using for a few days. the depression you feel after taking a particular drug for a while and then stopping is almost indescribable, but Daniel does a perfect job of doing it in this song.
