You're on the right track but I think you're wrong on a couple of points. The lines . "Never thought we'd end up here that night when you said The car's out back, let's see this through" Clearly imply that this was a crime they committed together. The rest is pretty straight forward. The singer is killing himself with poison after telling the cops everything they needed to know to convict his friend. "I sealed your fate, and told the truth" pretty much rests the case. I'm not sure how you got that he was framing his friend for his suicide out of that. |
