I like her use of the sea, it makes me think she is describing the life of the child/children. "and find the children lost at sea" This could suggest the back and forth traveling the child goes through, seeing different parents or carers, not knowing anything stable. "That you'll lose your wildest dreaming" Could suggest the father wishes not to bring up the child as he still wants to live a life doing the things he dreams of. "another womb to grow" I think this means he is going from person to person, until he decides to leave when things become too much, e.g. when a child becomes involved. I also agree, she is unable to forget him because the child looks just like him. |
