first, there are no cheaters here, neither him or her is one, in video there are only two people ending their relationship.. child signify once they were deeply in love and even now they care about each other (child is strong bond) even though they are realizing two heart are not in the same place (love) anymore ie "two hearts.. in two separate worlds" .. for whatever reason.."mutual misunderstanding" he sings (and there is not any 3rd person in video implying adultery!) he tries to kiss her she pulls back..ie "cold heart, hurt done by you" implies his heart comes from place of love, her's from place of fear..she does not want that relationship to goes on like it was before, she packs her bag.., at the beginning of the song temptation is to try to be together again even though "things are going wrong" between them, sweet deception calling married man is to say they could maybe work it out,he feels obligated.. for the sake of a child and all that they had and shared, BUT "negativity lands" because of this illusion that arises -to work it out somehow, cause his feelings are clear TWO HEARTS IN TWO SEPARATE WORLD..so concludes that after all IT IS NOT A SACRIFICE cause there is not real LOSS of their relationship-she is not at the "same place" (love) as her huby and daughter so it is for the best for them to go their separate ways- and for him is not sacrifice to raise their daughter alone, simple world simpliest of them all is Love there is no Direction without Love..without them wanting same things, "no stone unturned" is to say all of theirs feeling wanting and needs are ect |
