| Tegan and Sara – Where Does the Good Go Lyrics | 12 years ago |

I know that this is supossed to be a break-up song, but I find that, for me at least, I hear a kind of internal confliction. "Look me in the eye and tell me you don't find me attractive, look me in the heart and tell me that you won't go." That feeling of being broken and not wanting to get into another relationship, but still desperately craving affection, but knowing that the person probably doesn't feel the same... I don't know, maybe I'm making this fit my life too much, but that's just how I relate to it. I love this song so much, it's gotten me through a lot. Tegan and Sara are fantastic. |

Wow there's hardly any comments. Well I love this song so much, some of the best lyrics I've ever heard and I could listen to it, and only it, for the rest of my and be content. I don't know what else to say really. I just felt the need to express that this song is perfection. |

| I mostly agree with what everyone's saying, though I never noticed the relation to feminist aspects, but I always personally related to the "sexual suicide" as sexual orientation. Coming from a relatively conservative family it's hard to cope with it, I don't know if that's what the song was meant to be about, but that's what I get out of it. I love this song and I just find it really relatable and it's gotten me through a lot. I think the multiple possible meanings is what makes it so wonderful! | |
