When is Death Cab for Cutie song meanings ever basic in meaning? Generally, he has a surface meaning, and then much more underneath. Ben is almost never straight up in meanings. I do agree about the best band thing, though. |

I don't know about that. Being that Cath was was written 5 years after this song was written. So...yeah. I don't think Ben wrote a sequel to a song he hadn't written yet. Though, knowing him, it is possible. |
