This song is so amazing, thanks for the lyrics Emily. The song basically just talks about how the world is so messed up, unless you can't dig any deeper than to think this song is about sex. We all live in a delusional world. We are controlled by fear. That girl wants to have sex to feel what she thinks in her head like woman of value, like a girl on a billboard, like a "poster of a girl". "Je sais que tu n'aimes pas ta realite" is the best line of all, It really brings the rest of the song into perspective. Too bad it's in french and not many can understand it, and not many people will take the time to translate, I'm french, lucky me. I love the second verse, I feel like it's the other side of the coin, now Emily is taking on the role of someone who is like a big deal, an actor, a big time lawyer or (dirty scumbag) politician (yes, all of them). I don't think people see these lyrics for what they really are. |
