Just wrote a bio of sorts for Dobie, as there wasn't one on this site. As a guitarist (I was a teen in the 70's), this song for me has always been about...my guitar. The joy it gives me, how I get lost in song for hours on end, regardless of what life challenges I may be facing, music and my guitar always have a way of giving me peace and...'soothing my soul'.
