This appears to be Crowley reference. Lust to succeed has a double meaning of sucking seed ( oral sex ) and creating success through magic. (sucking seed and sucking eggs referring to mutual oral sex] When you pull the switch on us refers to the foretold enlightenment that was to occur in 2012 as a result of communications with the Sirius star system, Sirius being the brightest star. The selfish I could refer to both the ego and the eye of Sirius, stating that one cannot destroy the ego, and also referring to the previous statement the brightest light being the first to go, but that it cannot be destroyed.
