Everyone thinks it's about a former band member (mostly Hunter), but it COULD be about an ex who broke up with her. If you broke up with a girl and then she became famous like Hayley you'd try avoid her all the time. I think its about Hayley wanting to still be friends but he 'lives inside a cave' and just stays away from her. I don't think it would be about Hunter because of the line(s) The worst part is that this (this), this could be you. You know it too, you can't run from your shame That sounds too harsh since Hunter (and Jason) remained on good terms. It could instead be refer to the fact that it could be him with her if he hadn't of left. Well that's my two cents, if anyone even comes around her to hear it. |
