I totally agree. Actually this, Something in Your Mouth, Next Go Round, and Midnight Queen are the ones that are a little overboard in their lyrics. But the beat is too cool not to listen to it. Most of their songs are totally relate-able like I said replying to someone else. They have true meaning. And people say they suck, they really don't. They say they don't write their own songs. Chad himself wrote the first two albums. Then as you may know he joined with another guy to share song writing ideas. But really? Half the singers don't write their own crap. Nickelback is the kind of band that you can crank up in the summertime and sing the lyrics to all day. That's what I love about them. |

Let me just say, I am so happy I found you. Ok, everyone in my class always turns on me- saying Nickelback sucks. I grew up listening to them. My Dad has always loved them. Their songs (90% of them) have true meaning behind them. This is one of my favorite one just because I loving cruising in my car and cranking it as loud as I can. Rockstar is a classic, and I remember listening to it millions of times and never getting sick of it. Photograph and RockStar are the classic that we can all relate to. |
