Celldweller – Fadeaway Lyrics 12 years ago
I belive that the lyrics is about being addicted and the "dark voice" is the part of his conscious that feels the urge to take drugs. If you listen to the song and keep drugs and addiction in mind it actually makes sense and what makes most sense is "just stay far away from me" and "I'm not clear how it is that I ended up here" and if you want to think that he writes his songs about the same things you can listen to "birthright" where he is disappointed with himself that he doesn't stop and he just keeps going on but he hates what he does. He just keeps being entangled by his own addiction. Ah well back to the topic,
"Don't hate me now
They've torn away the ground from under me
Right after they were reassured that I believed
Normality is not a word I understand at all
I set myself up for the fall
Withdrawing deep into the hole
This isolated little hell leaves me cold and faded
Fadeaway" i think this is basically his addiction ruining everything he has and that he fades away from reality as the addiction gets stronger and worse.
