i think this song tells about a girl who is in love with a boy, but she hide it! Therefore the boy feels it! but he's afraid too because he's not sure of what she really feels. He send a message for her to inform that they could be together if the girl would take one minute to tell him her feelings. perhaps by sms, or email ( somewhere only they know) . |

My Case: I've never heard or known this song since my crush posted it on his facebook wall this morning and that's why i wanted to know the real meaning and that's why i'm here too ^^ ! i found great deal of informations i needed here :D hihi, thank you guys So this is my (our) story : he spent his vacation here (in my country) and went back abroad after. i just met him once in a party because he's my cousin's friend ....but after that ONE TIME we became good friends on facebook and we used to discuss lots of things ...when...he didn't reply me anylonger! i don't know exactly why??? for NO reason!!! "OUR FRIENDSHIP HAD TO END" but i think he thought we are becoming too closer and "HE ONLY WANTED TO BE SOME KIND OF FRIEND" ; Further, maybe he realized that I began to LOVE him time after time! so he stopped writting me! Meanwhile, he posted this only song ''PURPLE RAIN" and i 'm pretty sure it's a kind of message for me , so I checked it and it seems that i'm right after all :/ ! SO I AGREE with those who said that : it's a story about A good guy ( a BELIEVER) who didn' want to take advantage from the girl who loves him ( I never wanted to be your WEEK END lover) "eventhough I could if ireally wanted" but " I ONLY want to see you HAPPY in the purple rain! " we can also say that the purple rain is = LIFE! - " know times are changing" "It's time we all reach out" "For something new, that means you too" I think it's time for me to move on! :p ! if i'm wrong i'll return back here :D to inform you ^^ ! |
