Saving Jane – Girl Next Door Lyrics 12 years ago
I love this song so much! The lyrics are simple yet great and the beat is so catchy. I'm a guy, but I can still relate to this song because I don't really get noticed a lot and I sometimes wish that I could be a different, more social person. I feel everyone could relate to this song because there's always going to be that one person who's more popular or better looking than you. Love it!

Carrie Underwood – Two Black Cadillacs Lyrics 12 years ago
"Two black Cadillacs driving in a slow parade/Headlights shining bright in the middle of the day/One is for his wife, The other for the woman who loved him at night/Two black Cadillacs meeting for the first time"
In this line, she says that two women are driving to the funeral of a man. One is the man's wife, and the other is the woman he was having an affair with, and this is the 1st time they've met each other.
"And the preacher said he was a good man/And his brother said he was a good friend/But the women in the two black veils, they didn't bother to cry/Bye bye, bye bye/Yeah, they took turns layin' a rose down/Threw a handful of dirt into the deep ground/He's not the only one who had a secret to hide/Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye"
In the chorus, she says that everybody at the funeral thinks that he was a good man, but that only she and the other woman know the man's dark secret, and that they were the ones that killed the man to get revenge.
"Two monthes ago, his wife called the number on his phone/Turns out he'd been lying to both of them for oh so long/They decided then he'd never get away with doing this to them/Two black Cadillacs waited for the right time, the right time"
She's saying that the man's wife called the other woman on his cell phone and finds out about his affair. After that, the two woman decided he wouldn't get away with betraying them and plan the right time to kill him.
"It was the first and the last time they saw each other face-to-face/They shared a crimson smile and just walked away/And left the secret at the grave"
She says that the women met at the funeral, smile at each other (meaning they wouldn't tell anyone about what they'd done), and then left, never to tell their secret.
Anyway, I like this song and it's one of Carrie Underwood's best vocally and lyrically.

Adam Lambert – Whataya Want From Me Lyrics 12 years ago
"Hey, slow it down/Whataya want from me/Whataya want from me/Yeah, I'm afraid/Whataya want from me/Whataya want from me"
In this line, he talks about how he's afraid that a relationship is going too fast and doesn't want to rush into anything serious.

"There might've been a time when I would give myself away/Oh, once upon a time/I didn't give a d**n/But now here we are/So whataya want from me/Whataya want from me"
In this line, he says that he used to just give his love to anyone, not caring about the damage it does to him. But now that he's met the love of his life, he wants to focus on that person.

"Just don't give up/I'm workin' it out/Please don't give in/I won't let you down/It messed me up/Need a second to breathe/Just keep coming around, hey/Whataya want from me/Whataya want from me/Whataya want from me"
In the chorus, he talks about how he doesn't want the person he's dating to give up on him and leave him, like others have done before. He also talks about how past heartbreaks have hardened his heart to love and that he needs some time to heal himself and needs the person's help to do so.

"Yeah/ It's plain to see/That, baby, you're beautiful/and there's nothing wrong with you/It's me, I'm a freak/But thanks for loving me/'Cause you're doin' it perfectly"
In this line, he says it's not the other person's fault that their relationship isn't working out perfectly, and that it's his fault. He also thanks them for loving him, even though he didn't deserve it.

"There might've been a time that I would let you slip away/I wouldn't even try/But I think you could save my life"
In this lyric, he says that, in the past, he'd let his lover leave him, and wouldn't even try to keep them with him, and he tells them that he thinks that they could put them on the right track and turn him into a better person.

Leona Lewis – Better In Time Lyrics 12 years ago
"It's been the longest winter without you/I didn't know where to turn to/See somehow I can't forget you/After all that we've been through"
This line refers to her breaking up with someone she really loved and feeling miserable without him with her, and how she can't forget him after all the time they've been together.

"Going coming/Thought I heard a knock (Whose there, no one?)/Thinking that (I deserve it)/Now I have realized/That I really didn't know"
This line refers to her answering the door, hoping that her boyfriend would be there. It also refers to her feeling as though she deserved to have her heart broken, but now realizing that she didn't deserve it. (Possibly because her boyfriend had been cheating on her)

"If you didn't notice/You mean everything (quickly I'm learning)/To love again (all I know is)/Imma be okay"
In this line, she telling the boyfriend that she's learning how to get over the pain of their breakup and how she's going to recover from the heartbreak she's feeling.

"Thought I couldn't live without you/It's going to hurt when it heals too/Oh yeah (It'll all get better in time)/Even though I really love you/I'm gonna smile because I deserve too/Oh (It'll all get better in time)"
In the chorus, she says that, before the breakup, she felt that she couldn't live without her boyfriend with her, and how getting over the breakup will be painful. But she then says that, even though she still has feelings for her ex, she'll get on with her life and try to love again.

How could I turn on the TV/Without something that'll would remind me/Was it all that easy?/To put aside your feeling/If I'm dreamin'/Don't want to let it (hurt my feelings)/But that's the past (i believe it)/And I know that, time will heal it
In this line, she talks about how she still can't forget about her boyfriend and the memories they made together, and wondering if it's easy for him to forget about the love they shared. But in the end, she says that she'll still try to push the memories out of her head and get over her ex.

Since there's no more you and me (No more you and me)/This time I let you go so I can be free/And live my life how it should be (No no no no no no)/No matter how hard it is
I will be fine without you/Yes I will
In this line, she tells him that, since their relationship is over, she'll finally let go of their former relationship (implying that he's tried to leave before, but she's stopped him) and go back to living her own life.

Lady GaGa – Alejandro Lyrics 12 years ago
The song is pretty easy to figure out. It's about a girl who has a guy that loves her, but she doesn't love him back, but he won't give her up. So, she's telling him to leave her alone and to let her go.
