well i think kurt calling the song "you know you're right" is like a self-depreciating statement to his haters- it's as if he's agreeing with what they're saying about him... it's like he's telling the media: "i know i'm a miserable, self-destructive rocker junkie and you know it too." hence the title: "you know you're right". oh kurt........ |

So you could know, I am some kind of 'Sheeranator' though (ha) and one day I've been flipping through random Ed Sheeran interviews, and I remember seeing this one about this song. From what I've heard, the reason why Ed inserted the phrase 'A Team' because certain kinds of crack drugs, for instance, Heroin' is under the 'Class A Team' of illegal drugs. And another reason of why he made the song revolve around a certain kind of prostitute, is because of an homeless shelter he did a gig on.
