In my opinion, in the third verse she crearly say "As the CHAIN impact shimmered" you can read it in her lips watching the video. Great song, never thought it was about Jane Mansfield. But I knew it was about the egomaniac impact of fame and stardoom in some people's life... the line "kiss them for me" like an order for the bodyguards (?) a lot of stars are really mean with their fans and prefer not to get close the them... |
