To me it presents our need and want to share (with others) the emotional overflow of realizing what Christ really did and who He is. Not in an evangelistic manner but in a brotherhood/sisterhood increase in fellowship manner. Also, a plea to Christ as well as a humble apology of how far away we come, even through our best efforts, to understanding the crucifixion and pain God had to suffer. Sad, sad song yet encouraging because it leads only to drawing on God's grace, power and peace. Understanding, unnecessary. Clarity shall never be granted in the matter of the crucifixion and resurrection. But fellowship completely necessary although just an act of psychological effort to resolve the that which cannot be - because he is God and we are not!! |

I def see your interpretation and I agree, don't understand why no comments. I see you commented a LONG time ago. I discussed shortly at a concert with the band the meaning of the song. It is surely one of those that means many things to most (and mostly diff things) Oh, the beauty of musical interpretation!! |
