"Up till now I thought I knew love" She thinks this is the true love which's nothing like previous experiences. "Didn't anyone tell you, you're supposed to break my heart? I expect you to, so why haven't you?" She says others always broke her heart but this "unusual" one haven't. "Only an angel could be so unusual" It's not always an angel comes to mind when someone say "unusual". Freak, devil, weirdo, crazy might also appear at one's mind though she says this unusual thing is divine, pure and good thing. "Sweet surprise, I could get used to, unusual you" I'm not sure about this line but she might be saying that though he's unusual, it's not going to be hard to get used to it. "Can't believe that I almost didn't try when you call my name" Again, I don't get much of thing from this line. I don't know what she didn't try. It could be she didn't try to prevent this overflowing emotions. p.s: When I said "she" I didn't mean it to be necessary Britney or even a female. A man would also feel this way against someone. I don't think this song is about Britney or her love life, she just sang it. |
