Magic is only the definition of something that can not be defined by science. This does not necessarily make you fake or inaccurate. Also the way he says it could also be relative to those who would take advantage of you through God, and unexplained sciences. He could be saying he does not believe in the magician that stunts God. Just something to think about. |

Only question I got is what reference he uses the word "love" in. I thought this song was very symbolic to Catholicism under the pope. where man has the right to free themselves on sin based on bargains and trade-ins while they were merely only being taken advantage of by a religious organization, that was merely collecting a check. However as in to live as slaves to love would be an incredibly difficult thing to do, in its proper definition of selflessness. I'm not sure how he uses the word, therefore I can not say this song sways one way or the other. However based on the tone of it, it's doesn't seem like he's writing off God in particularly, only those who'd take advantage of you through God (Which there are many.) I'm not a intensely "Religious." man. But the act of religion is man made. The act of a God needs to be one that comes from him, not from us. |

Yes It says that after saying, If the drugs don't work. Then Your gonna Curse his holy name. Plus I didn't think He said Dear or Dam* God I thought He said deny it during that part... I'm not sure though, I don't think Billy Talent would make an Anti-God song cause their music generally only creates statements to spur topics not to tell anyone what to do. The Majority of their songs (As I own 3 of their albums) are against social injustice. I doubt, but am not sure if this an anti-God song. |
