Mumford & Sons – I Will Wait Lyrics 12 years ago
You're right about it being about their hectic life on the road! But it is all about Jesus.

I am a religious nut I agree! But man I love mumford and sons. (: They share a lot of themes of the worship music they came from with the beauty of secular music so that all people can enjoy it.

Almost ever line has hints from biblical themes,

"Days of dust" we are all made from dust and will return to dust,
"I'll kneel down" Prayer, especially when times are hard and we are exhausted,
"Well you forgave, and I won't forget" Jesus forgave us all, everyone for our iniquities... and he is saying he wont forget that.
"So tame my flesh and fix my eyes" speaking of the "flesh" is a nearly only a biblical reference to taming what we want in our self-serving ways, and fixing the eyes is because "if the eyes are bad all things that are seen will also be bad"
"Raise my hands; paint my spirit gold" Raising your hands is an act of worship seen at churches, especially during singing. Painting the spirit gold, is putting a right, good spirit in the body.
"Bow my head; keep my heart slow" Bowing the head is also a very like... church-worship like action, and keeping the heart slow is to take away all racing thoughts and give a calmness so that they can think clearly...

I mean there is more but I mean the whole song is written in the form of a prayer, almost like the old psalms! I hope that doesn't ruin the song for you because it really is so beautiful even without any sort of reference to Jesus but man... For me personally, it makes it so awesome!

God bless! (:

Mumford & Sons – Hopeless Wanderer Lyrics 12 years ago
mumford and sons are a band that had their roots started at the worship band at their church, and the "click" in your head is the way God lays things on your heart. (: He speaks in a still small voice, like a quiet click that leads you this way or that. Also sort of like your conscience how it tells you when you are doing something right or wrong.
