AHHHHHHH!! This is one of my favourite songs and someone stuffs up the lyrics. "The man in there swings" is wrong. "Now an ambulance screams" is right. I know someone up further said they couldn't be bothered changing it, but I sure can. Anyway, I have OCD so the way I interpreted the song was she can't stop thinking, her thoughts are of her control (which I understand perfectly). They lead her to places she doesn't want to go and the pirates probably refer to her feeling of helplessness in the matter, having her control stolen and trying to catch an uncatchable enemy???? Meh, I like the song, so who really cares what I think? |
