Hmm, I think the ecological issue started to be on debate only a couple of years later. People hardly thought about this in 1967 the way they did from the mid-70ies on, so that track is rather improbable. I also do not tend to the "cell window" approach. I see the sond rather related to general sadness (blues!), and moments when people rather relate to nature than to other people. especially in the "grey" cities. So a momentum of doubt in the course of civilisation and culture might be in the song's baseline. |
