Chris De Burgh – Borderline Lyrics 4 years ago
This song always gets a fantastic reception when Chris plays live, usually with rapturous applause at the line ‘..wisdom in a war’. I have seen Chris many times and it is always on the set.

Dire Straits – Telegraph Road Lyrics 12 years ago
I agree this has got to be Dire Straits finest achievement. I saw them a couple of times live. In 1985 on the Money For Nothing Tour they did not play this, but then in 1992 at an outdoor concert they played Telegraph Road, from end to end, as part of the encore, which took me by surprise. I stood, transfixed, for the whole song.

Gerry Rafferty – Baker Street Lyrics 12 years ago
Keep going RikM. You'll get there. The song is probably about Rafferty's disenchantment with the workings of the music industry, but what I like about good lyrics is the way you can read into them things pertinent to you rown situation. I was 18 when I first bought this record, and it sounds as good today as it did then.

The Beautiful South – Bell Bottomed Tear Lyrics 12 years ago
In the first verse: "this is the child I brought up, this is the woman you laid..." It sounds like she is taking the father of her child back to the scene of the one night stand.
