I love this song! More of the world really needs to be exposed to the awesomeness of POTF. Anyway, I keep flipping back between two possible interpretations for this song. 1). This is a song singing about a significant other who recently passed away. She gave him the love he always needed and managed to get through all of his guards that kept him from getting close to anybody. He's telling her that even though she is no longer alive in the world, she is still alive in him, essentially "cradled in love". He will always love her, and because of that she will never truly be dead. 2). My other thought is that it could be the opposite way around. He could be the one who passed away. He is telling her not to cry because she's alive still "cradled in love" that he gave her. He's in peace because of the love they shared. I'm leaning more towards my first idea, but I think you can look at it from either way. |
