This song is about Mitch's grandmother who passed away due to Osteoperosis (brittle bone disease). Think about it; "Girl of Glass", osteoperosis makes your bones easier to break, and glass is a very weak thing. "Composed of an element so weak, so frail" her bones could easily break cause they were so weak. |

i believe the meaning is about having mixed emotions toward someone. you want them to burn in hell but you also want them to be there. i have a friend who i hate because she's a bitch and she ditched a lot of her friends, but i remain friends with her because she is always there for me and she cheers me up |
