This represents my my relashionship with my best guy friend. Okay, like only guy friend, but you know... If a plane crashed into my room I wouldn't even flinch I couldn't try to move My mind is on you My mind is on you -The first verse represents how I feel. I am often thinking of him, every minute. It's hard to get me out of daze (I wouldn't even flinch/I couldn't try to move/My mind is on you) The second verse is pretty much alike, just different lyrics. You've got me caught in a blaze Panic for a minute Got my brain in a daze I wish you weren't in it There are so many ways To lose your attention - So, alot of times in school I'm distracted by him-just the thought or him goofing around. When I snap out of this "daze" I panic because it's usually a teacher who snaps me out of it and is like "And the answer is..." and my table partner is like "Persuasive" or whatever it is. I sometimes wish he wasn't in my thoughts, but otherwise I'm good with it. :D In the last two lines (There are so many ways/To lose your attention) He's easily distracted by silly things, including girls. But he knows I like him, so he doesn't mean anything with them. You can break everything But so what I can take anything-My favorite line of this song. He likes to tease me, to play with my heart, because I seem really weak and spineless but this is me telling him to do what he wants because I can withstand anyting. If electric charges shock me I smile and fold my arms I feel nothing new Because my mind is on you-He gets my heart racing, shocks running through me. Nothing hurts me because he is the hurt-the squeeze of my heart, the spine chills, the sweetness of hurt. And if the floor gives way to my shoes I wouldn't try to fly I can't explain why I feel I just feel you-I'm seen as the "bird" of my friends, the singer, the poet (Hence my username PoetryBird) I'm easily scared, ect. But with him, I'm more prone to diasters, my klutzyness has worsened. My girlfriends don't get why I like him, they dislike him and vice versa. But I understand him (I just feel you). We click. He's had tragedy happen quite recent, a month or so and I've been living with fear and sadness since I was little, so I get that part. But we're complete opposites-he's loud, talkative, goofy, and akward and I'm quiet, gentle, giggly and akward (One similarity! Yeeesss!) You're the heat in my bones But you break me with stones-My third favorite line(s). (My second is above) He is what gives me energy, sends me off, gives me a reason, etc. But he's slightly fearful, so he pokes at me, causes me to be hurt. He tries to understand why I like him, but uses it to his advantage, which pi**es me off. Alot. But I still like him. More than alot.<3 Anyway, you've got me take/life story. :D |

| I believe the took the verse "Your cheek is softly by the sun..." and had it playing backwards. (I don't know if that's even the term). I think that's what she's saying, but I'm not sure. Hope it helps. :) | |

| This song always sends chills up my spine when I listen to it. It's just got those wonderful instrumental notes but then Flo comes in and creates this one big, out of body harmony that's just perfect in its own way.
