Great song obviously. Does anyone know? ......I thought I had read somewhere that the song was about a prostitute and that the male subject in the song was in love with her and wanted to be with and take care of her. Unfortunately - he wasn't able to afford her. I may very well be wrong about this. Does anyone else out there remember reading anything similar? **** Also if you like this song, check out Mick Taylor and Carla Olson's rendition off the album "Too hot for snakes". Beautiful version as well. |
