| Biffy Clyro – Liberate the Illiterate/A Mong Among Mingers Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I don't know why but I've always thought this song was connected to Francesca's job, since she is a teacher maybe it was her that had to "liberate the illiterate". I don't know, it's just a sensation. | |
| Biffy Clyro – Picture a Knife Fight Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| In an interview, Simon and Ben said that this song is very important to them because it's like the anthem of their brotherhood, and Biffy as a team. There was a time (the 2 years long tour of Only Revolutions) when they felt they were drifting apart as a band and as friends. Fortunately, after some time of struggling, they found their spirit back. And the fact that this song closes the entire new album with the line: "We've got to stick together" is a reminder to them of all they've been through. | |

I don't know if I'm sure, probably not, but yesterday I watched a very intimate interview to Biffy on YouTube where Ben talked about his alcohol problems of the last couple of years. He said something about an accident that was his wake up call: he woke up one day with a wound on his head and ear, and blood all over his head and he had no clue how he got hurt. So the lines: "I'm starting to crack my head against the wall and floor The blood keeps coming and I just can't take anymore I just can't take anymore" just reminded me of that. |
