:D Right on! Hitting the spot! ...I like reading your explanation. Thank you for taking your time. And, yes, "has such a different meaning" :) Which makes this band so unique and such a great band. I hope they continue writting music/lyrics this deep for God's People to see ourselves and not loose focus on Him, our Creator - Jesus. I know, not all songs from band's lyrics like "Red" or other Christian Screamo/Rock genre, like, Underoath, are meant for Christ followers. It's a positive message for all minds and hearts. Yet, their fervent believe in Christ Jesus, moves them to assert truth, in God. So, it will always boomerang to Christian life! |

I'm in awe of everyone's opinion on this song. I, too, am caught in a good state of silence and thoughtful still. To think how the world's system of evil manipulates and uses evil men to do away with God's triumphant creation - us. When all seems lost and dark...and Silence reigns throughout the earth...then, just when all seemed torn, Light (Son of God) uplifts what is seen dead and fights against this Evil and evil men. |

I think, your interpretation may also be just. Because, in this type of environment that the song is resembling, even the most godly person can be braught down to nothing just with a touch of lost faith. Then, it takes one person to investigate, takes one person to bring a touch of Hope...and only takes God's Son Jesus to light up the path in our hearts to pick up where we last was. So many of us tend to stop Dreaming and go on with our business instead of His business and stop believing in His faith - we become dead believers, in time. So, even though the true lyrics stand, but your thought process is commended :) Thank you. |
