| Pierce the Veil – I'm Low On Gas And You Need A Jacket (Alternate Version) Lyrics | 13 years ago |

To me this song talks about a couple, or friends who've committed suicide together, at first with the first verse As I choke, tried to wash you down With something strong, dry But the taste of blood remains. All these cold empty mattresses And falling stars, my how They start to look the same. I thought that it was about someone who killed somebody, or watched someone commit suicide, but then with the lyrics Tell you "let's go in style." A million hooks around A million ways to die, Darlin' it's cold outside. & No, no more eyes to see the sun You slide into bed while I get drunk Slow conversations with a gun mean More than I've ever said to anyone It makes me think about a couple who've committed suicide together or he's confiding in his depression to his friend or girlfriend This is just my personal opinion I don't know what the rest of you think |
