Great song. He cheated on her, at least partially. She's expressing how she feels about it and tells him how pathetic it is to just apologize after having done something like this. She's hinting that they had something great going on. There's also this shot when she's very sad about the break-up. But she's thinking she'll not taking him back because she'll probably sting like a bee and will never be ok with this (they can't rectify the situation). |

It's not a clear love song, it's an abstract song. She talks about choice we have to make in life, about all the anxiety and worry you have about choosing the wrong path and getting stuck. It's about being so confused and tired and worried that you don't understand where you're going and are too scared to even make a move. In the end she's letting her senses go, trusting her instincts and forgetting the fear. The angels will bring her home no matter what. This can be about relationship&love, about literally going home, about a long trip, about choosing a career or whatever seems to be important in your life. Beautiful song. |

I really get where she's coming from. It has a lot to do with commitment issues. She always wants to have something new in her life, every experience etc. It happens partially because she's afraid of seeing what will happen if she stays on one place. Her heart seems to be locked on the inside so this passion for "new" is a way of distracting herself. She knows that for building up the future she should move to the past. So she's hoping someone will actually stop her, hold a warm place for her. Like a safe place to settle down. She's worried about these issues and can't sleep. She wants everything, like she doesn't really want to give up her freedom or touring. "When I'm gone, I know what I've done" - can be understood in two ways. Like she could only reap the benefit if she would stay (old friends, relationships etc). Or in another meaning she will only discover what she has lost after she left... |

I really think it's pretty straightforward. He's in love with some girl and the girl is seeing someone else. The guy knows he should just go on, so he hates to be so emotional about this. He beats the other guy up and he's trying to ridicule him at least in his own mind or in his own way. It never says that he's much better than the other guy and he probably doesn't make any moves towards the girl. He's just trying to get the other guy out off the way somehow and it's probably he's beating the other one up purely in his mind. Yes, there could be other interpretations of the meaning, but the straightforward thing is this one |

Sometimes the same is different.... and forward. It's about wondering if he will get tired of the same girl or not. He's kind of surprised that he doesn't get bored of it, but is not that kind of person to talk about those mysteries of soles or the Sun and the Moon.... It's possible that he just doesn't feel the mind-soul connection with her, but he's sure he's attracted to her. So in the whole, he doesn't really bother getting to know her or she's not that interesting. He was sort of sucked into that passion and just wants her for sex, but he's being quite honest about it. |

I don't think it's just a Twilight song. It was probably written as a song by itself. It's like there's some dark past or mistakes he or she has made. He's now reassuring that he's ready to take the relationship more seriously and he has feelings for her (our love I hope it's not to late; that's the road I've been down etc) He draws her an abstract picture of being together for eternity and sort of talks about that "us against the world" theme. But then again, he actually expects her to take the main step and do the decision. He says "I could stay if that's what you want". It's not I will stay, so it's kind of like he's not really sure about what he wants. I'd give it to you, if I had a heart - he's not sure if he is completely in love or if he even has that ability to love someone with his whole heart. So the whole thing is more like making a subtle, unsure proposition instead of saying "I love you forever". He loves the idea of being together forever in general, but I doubt that he loves that girl in particular (he doesn't know if he has a heart). |

This is about relationship, of course. It's an unstable, they don't know is this serious or no. The guy is probably afraid of attachment (If I try to get close, he's already gone). They are a bit offbeat with each other (While I powder my nose, he will powder his gums) and maybe leading a destructive lifestyle (the powder - drugs). The girl wants the guy to open up and hints that otherwise they'll end up as a disaster (oh this is suicide). The guy continues and doesn't see a problem here (you can't see the ropes) "They've got nothing to say" - they don't know if they should express love to each other or talk about avoiding attachment. But "Just the beating of hearts..." hints that they feel as if they might be soulmates. They don't want to tell to their folks, because they don't know what will happen in the future and their scared of making a commitment. The girl is asking if they will stay for another day, but is also hinting that she could love him forever. They both seem to be in a fragile state so for now they keep together to be stronger until they solve some problems and are brave enough to make some plans. |

Yes, but why in the start of the video he leaps for that ambulance? I get a feeling that he's emotional about someone and is angry because nobody could relate to him so instead he's either wasting his life (the crowd symbolizes other people doing they're daily tasks and the dog is probably his own boss or things he needs to do) or just would feel better being alone. He doesn't want to move in the same direction everybody else is going anymore (he wants to go back, perhaps to an old relationship?) |

It's a biased song. It's kind of an introvert song. But I also get this - the guy had to break up with a girl or never got a girl he wanted and now he's sort of bragging how he has time for friends and how he's free. But in the next verses he actually hints that he's very emotional about this and he also claims that the girl would never understand his feelings. It might be like unreturned love or something. It might also be about a loss of a family member or something. The other interpretation is drugs of course, but seems a bit too shallow. The third one would be the introvert thing, but the video suggests the first version. |

Well it sounds like his girlfriend is inconsistent and not putting enough effort into relationship. But I get a feeling that even though he's kind of angry and left alone, he will still wait for her to turn around in the future. Maybe she went away for a long time and he is kind of hinting that maybe, maybe he will still take her back or smth. |

Yes I have this feeling too that he doesn't even properly know the girl. He is insecure about whether a girl would like him or not and is making up excuses why she wouldn't like him. Maybe she seems to be a bit uptight, maybe a bit too popular or too "correct". Either way, he is just watching her from a distance. He told his friends that he's going to get her, but in reality he was way too insecure about making his move. So he is just giving up. The disease may be the crush or maybe the friends we're trying to cure his insecurity and push him forward. |
