I think it is about two boys. The older brother walks in and see's his Mother in a blood. The boys are young and they can't comprehend the blood and cleaning it up. Thinking cleaning it up will make it better. The ambulance takes their Mother and the speeding of the ambulance is telling you the intensity of the situation. SUITS WERE MADE FOR MEN, NOT BOYS is that they were too young to be wearing suits to a funeral for their Mother. They were too young to loose their Mother. The older brother was now taking his Mother's place to care for his little brother. It hits him that his Mother is gone like a drug addict realizes they have no drugs. Once it hits him, that his Mother is actually gone, the break down of emotion comes head on. I see a boy at a funeral screaming inside that he doesn't want his Mother gone. That he needs her. That he is too young to handle this on his own. " don't wanna go And I don't wanna go If it means goodbye And I don't wanna go I don't wanna see her If it's the last time" He doesn't want to leave her grave because then that means she is really gone. "And this faith that we fake is a choice." just speaks for itself. Great song. Very powerful. That's what I got from it |
